CMDC aviation and vehicle satellite transceivers are designed to meet satellite on-the-move (SOTM) and beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) communication requirements. Our aviation, ground vehicle, integrated and embedded systems are used for blue force tracking (BFT), command and control and situational awareness applications. We provide reliability, flexibility, savings and security. We are the only transceiver provider who sells equipment that operates over all commercial L-band satellites. L-band is ideal for operations where security is a requirement, and L-band’s superior performance in rain, snow and fog is battle proven. All data including headers are encrypted end-to-end; aviation systems and backhaul links are FIPS 140-2 validated. Over-the-Air Re-key (OTAR) provides security management and compromise recovery. AVX-06 Aviation Satellite Transceiver Overview

avx06Helicopters have a need for locating friendly and hostile forces on aircraft displays and in their command and control centers. The AVX-06 aviation tracking and messaging transceiver is designed for mobile tracking and messaging applications on fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The AVX-06 transceiver enables the display of positions for U.S. and coalition air and ground forces and C2 communication through its integration in the U.S. Army’s Blue Force Tracking system. Missions can be planned knowing exactly where forces are, and messages can be sent to individual assets in near real-time. The link to ground forces and other aircraft enables faster clearance of fire determinations and the ability to get on taget quicker via messages that are communicated securely among users within seconds. The MT-2012 transceiver can operate anywhere in the world over commercial satellite systems to track mobile assets and provide two-way communications. An RFID interrogator provides Total Asset Visibility by interrogating RF tags attached to cargo containers and reports data back to headquarters over the satellite link.
