Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $6.0 Million
of Movement Tracking System Orders for Satellite Network
Bandwidth, Network Operations, Program Management,
and Technical Support
MELVILLE, N.Y., May 27, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX
News Network) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL)
announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary,
Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, received orders
totaling $6.0 million under its Movement Tracking System,
or MTS contract, with the U.S. Army. Total orders received
to date against the $605.1 million MTS contract increased
to $535.2 million.
The orders are for the supply of satellite network
operations management, program management, installation,
training and technical support services. The orders
are in support of ongoing MTS program activities in
the United States and abroad.
