Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $10.0 Million of Blue
Force Tracking Orders for Satellite Network Upgrades and Mobile
Satellite Data Communications Transceivers

-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today
that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation,
received orders totaling $10.0 million under its IDIQ contract
with the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM).
The orders are for the support of the Force XXI Battle Command
Brigade and Below -- Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT) program,
a battle command real-time situational awareness and control system.
Comtech received full funding to test and deploy improved beam
processing hub equipment to specific segments of its satellite
network and to purchase equipment and services that will enable
use of the INMARSAT 4 satellite constellation. The orders are
also for the supply of Comtech's Model MT-2011 Mobile Satellite
Data Transceivers for use with both ground and aviation assets.
