Product Description
geoOps™ Enterprise Location Management System provides an integrated, web-based capability to command, control and manage all ground vehicles and mobile assets. The tool integrates the functions of route planning, transportation control, dispatching, travel and road condition monitoring and updating on an easy to use electronic map framework. It provides secure, real-time tracking of vehicle movement, as well as integrated dispatching and movement support. The capability can be based on existing geographical information system (GIS) tools and on commercial mobile GPS and messaging transponder technology supported by commercial database management tools.

Easy, permanent or non-permanent, non-obtrusive vehicle installation

geoOps™ Enterprise Location Management System

Comtech Mobile Datacom deploys vehicle and asset tracking systems that dispatch, monitor, and control travel or asset location throughout any geographical area. Vehicles are outfitted with a system that acquires location (lat./long.), speed and direction data via a GPS receiver that is integrated with a data transponder (using satellite-, cell- or radio-based modems, or any combination of these). This data is encrypted and then transmitted to a dispatch center where our web-based mapping software tracks and displays the vehicle or asset locations on highly functional electronic maps. These systems are integrated with in-cab computer devices that allow navigation, text messaging and satellite monitoring in the vehicle.

Entire fleets can be outfitted with these tracking devices to determine the position of the vehicle with an accuracy threshold of 50 feet or less. The installed tracking units also include a two-way messaging device. Satellite-based communication to and from the dispatch center eliminates “dead spots” often encountered with land mobile radios and cell based technology. The vehicle hardware is non-permanent, unobtrusive and tamper-proof. These tracking units are able to operate in severe weather conditions, including temperature ranges from negative 40°F to positive 140°F (-40° to +60°C). The hardware installation effort is minimal following the initial vehicle configuration, thereby allowing for the easy transfer of the units to and from vehicles.

Our goal is to provide systems that accelerate the command, control, efficiency and safety of any vehicle management program. geoOps™ Enterprise Location Management System integrates with existing methods seamlessly, provides a fully functional and graphically based management process, is very easy to use and increases the safety of every vehicle operator within the fleet. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you by providing the capabilities that you both need and desire.
