MTM-203 US Patent # 7,667,643
|
Product Description
This miniaturized mobile satellite transceiver incorporates
the key features of our MT-2011. It also incorporates
state-of-the-art technology created for users where
both restrictions in size and weight are critical.
In 2008, we received a Federal Information Processing
Standard (FIPS) 140-2 validation certification from
the National Institute for Standards and Technology
(NIST) for the MTM-203 Miniature Satellite Transceiver
Module. The MTM-203 is used on our MT-2011G product.
Product Overview
The MTM-203 combines compact design and unique functionality
to provide integrators with a robust device that can
easily be incorporated into other electronic devices
including handheld computers, portable battery powered
equipment such as laptop and tablet computers plus barcode
readers and covert devices. The transceiver's primary
function is to allow users and enable applications to
send and receive messages via satellite. Additionally,
by using the internal GPS receiver, the MTM-203 provides
location information on each message and also transmits
location information automatically. The MTM-203 is a
fundamental system component that soldiers and first
responders rely upon when every second does matter and
will count!
